What Gets Deleted

The personal information permanently removed from our systems

Once your request is verified and any outstanding balance or transaction is settled, we delete the personal data associated with your account, including:

  • Identity information: your name, email, phone number, and profile details.
  • Saved beneficiaries and contacts.
  • Login credentials and biometric (Face ID) settings.
  • Wallet and device identifiers.

What We Must Retain, and Why

Information kept strictly for regulatory and compliance purposes

Because Dolphin Pay is a regulated financial service, certain records must be kept even after your account is closed to comply with legal, tax, anti-money-laundering (AML), and Know-Your-Customer (KYC) obligations.

Retained records include:

  • Transaction records and statements.
  • Identity verification (KYC) records.
  • Records required to resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or meet regulatory reporting.

We retain these records only for as long as the law requires (typically up to [7] years after account closure). After the required retention period, these records are securely deleted. This retained data is not used for any other purpose.
